Back in 2017, in the occasion of Eid Al Fitr and in honor of the Year of Giving , Goumbook launched the ‘Farmers Project’ in partnership with Accor Hotels, giving away ten thousands Ghaf trees to be planted in all seven Emirates.
Today the program has evolved and all land owners in the UAE are now invited to apply online for trees: Ghaf trees consume very little water, enrich the soil, help fight climate change and can sequester up to 34.65kg of CO2 emissions per year each.
