COP 28
Goumbook hosted three booths at COP28 as part of the Ministry of Education pavilion, showcasing campaigns on environmental protection and climate action. We engaged with diverse stakeholders, promoting sustainability education and awareness among 122 schools and more than 50,000 visitors.

Dubai Can
Goumbook is proud to be the Strategic Partner and Trusted Sustainability Expert of Dubai Can, a sustainability initiative by His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai. Dubai Can aims to protect the environment by reducing the use of single-use plastic water bottles all across the city.

Food Wise Challenges
Goumbook, in partnership with MOCCAE, hosted the Food Wise Challenge as part of DWTC’s Food for Future Expo & Summit, where students developed solutions to food security challenges, promoting sustainable food choices in line with the UAE’s National Food Security Strategy 2051.

Give it Forward
In 2024, Goumbook partnered with Dubai Holding for the #GiftItForward initiative, supporting 8,000+ blue-collar workers and 500+ low-income families by repurposing over 90,000 new inventory items.

The House of L’Occitane: Beekeeping Course
This partnership trained six women from Zambia and Bangladesh in beekeeping, learning necessary skills that enabled them to set up and manage full apiaries to produce honey and other beehive-derivative goods.

Recipe of Change
As local delivery partners of UNEP West Asia, Goumbook launched the UAE activation of the “Recipe of Change” campaign, engaging 22 hotels in its first round. In collaboration with Dubai Sustainable Tourism we raised awareness and inspired action against food waste in the hospitality industry, culminating in a pledge-signing event at Atlantis The Palm.
