Eligibility Criteria
We seek impactful research, science and nature-based solutions that meet the following eligibility criteria:
Domain
Solutions must operate within the field of regenerative agriculture, advancing climate-resilient and sustainable farming practices.
Applicants Profile
Open to researchers and innovators seeking to develop their work to proof-of-concept stage, with a focus on acquiring the business and entrepreneurship capabilities required to scale and secure funding.
Solutions
Must be grounded in research, science, or nature-based innovation. Both process and technological innovations are eligible to apply.
Relevance to the MENA Region
All applications must directly address food system challenges within the Middle East and North Africa, including:
• Climate change adaptation and mitigation
• Soil health restoration and combating desertification
• Carbon farming and sequestration
• Biodiversity enhancement
• Food and water security
• Farmer support and livelihoods
Geographic Scope
This programme is open to applicants worldwide*.
Eligibility is determined by the proposed solution’s ability to address agricultural conditions and opportunities within the MENA region.
*Currently not accepting applications from the following countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, and Syria.
