Give a Ghaf

Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan launched the Give a Ghaf tree planting programme as part of his vision to green the desert. In 2010, Goumbook embraced that vision and began raising awareness about the Living Desert.

A year later, in 2011, Goumbook officially launched the Give a Ghaf programme to celebrate the Ghaf tree, highlight its cultural and ecological values, and encourage people to plant indigenous trees and save water.
